BAMIKOLE is a practicing Attorney, an Arbitrator, and a Notary Public. He is a Consultant/Affiliate Partner in Alpha & Rohi. He consults for the Firm on practice areas relating to energy law and taxation. He has advised on several legal disputes in respect of production sharing contracts on oil blocks worth hundreds of millions and billions of dollars. He also advises on legal liabilities, injuries at workplace, cum negotiated contracts in respect to Production tank set up, Pit and Environmental Barrier excavation. He has advised the Nigerian Investment Promotion Council (NIPC) on the applicability of pioneer status incentive provided under the Industrial Development (Income Tax Relief) Act. Cap. 117, LFN 2004, to companies in oil and gas sector, particularly in view of the Petroleum Profit Tax Act, 2014 and many others.
He holds a master’s degree in oil and gas law and a doctorate in the jurisprudence of Commercial Arbitration. He’s a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK), the Association of Law Teachers (UK), the Nigerian Bar Association, the Energy Institution (UK), and an Associate Fellow of the Advanced Higher Education Academy.
He is currently a law lecturer with the School of Law, Robert Gordon University, United Kingdom, an administrator (volunteer) at World Mission Agency, Scotland, and also partner with Alpha & Rohi in Nigeria.
He is highly self-motivated and has demonstrated experience garnered over 16 years in court advocacy, arbitration, researching, and teaching, with peer-reviewed publications and public presentations on various areas of commercial law.
